Guarantee

Our commercial frame guarantee covers manufacturing defects from the delivery date of your original purchase. It sits alongside your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Guarantee coverage

From the delivery date of your original purchase, we cover manufacturing defects in the frame and frame springs for an initial period of 1 year. We also provide an additional 5-year structural frame guarantee at no extra cost.

The extended 5-year structural frame guarantee covers hardwood sofa frames against manufacturing defects for five years from the delivery date. Claims under the extended cover are verified by independent inspection (for example Castelan Group or Emmiera).

Conditions

To benefit from this guarantee you must:

  • Use the furniture for domestic use only (not workplaces or businesses)
  • Have the item assembled by Bee Furniture Outlet’s delivery team, or check condition with the delivery team present if you ask for items to remain packaged
  • Follow the care instructions provided and maintain the product properly
  • Not make unauthorised alterations or interfere with the product

Unauthorised alterations or interference void this commercial guarantee.

Assembly and care

Complimentary assembly is included with delivery. Our team can assemble the furniture in the room of your choice and show you how to use features such as storage compartments or sofa-bed mechanisms.

  • Clean with a damp cloth only — do not use chemical products
  • Do not put covers in the washing machine
  • Do not sit on sofa arms, especially those with adjustable mechanisms

Exclusions

This commercial guarantee does not cover:

  • Deliberate damage, rough handling, misuse, or failure to maintain
  • Wear and tear, natural fading, or commercial / workplace use
  • Incorrect assembly (where not carried out by our delivery team)
  • Damage from unexpected actions or misuse of mechanisms
  • Small replacements and electrical components
  • Issues reported more than 30 days after installation, where those categories are excluded under this policy
  • Items sold in our sale / clearance section — these do not include this commercial guarantee

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights for faulty or misdescribed goods.

Transferability

The guarantee is personal and non-transferable. If you sell or gift the furniture, the guarantee ends.

Exchange within the first 12 months

The 12-month guarantee includes one exchange, if required. Claims started more than 6 months after delivery follow the evidence process below.

Defects after 6 months

For defects arising after the first 6 months, we will ask for evidence of the fault. This is normally a thorough inspection and written report. We recommend a reputable furniture repair company such as Castelan Group or Emmiera.

How to claim

If you suspect a manufacturing defect, contact us via our contact form or email hello@beefurnitureoutlet.co.uk, attaching any supporting evidence. We aim to respond to all claims within 2 working days.

Statutory rights

This commercial guarantee is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable law. Nothing here limits those rights.
